Conference and Exhibition Hall José Peña – Factory Museum José Peña

The Conference and Exhibition Hall José Peña was inaugurated on March 25, 2011, and contains within its walls nearly a century of history. The name that has been given is the founder of the canning and ex Cambados Mayor, José Peña Oubiña.

The building was completely renovated and its usefulness can be divided into three parts. Two of them are located on the first floor. On the one hand offers a large living room, today is used for multiple activities, such as conferences, concerts, monologues, children’s activities, “parties” informatics or “El Tunel del Vino” tasting professional space for Albariño wine festival . On the other hand has the part dedicated to museum, where we can find the old office of José Peña and machinery that is used for canning that manufactured products, and information on different panels about the history of the old factory and industry canning in Cambados
