The Falcón family has been growing grapes and making wine since 1980, when his father, Olegario Falcón, bought the vineyard La Finca and started to produce Albariño under the name Don Olegario, which became part of the Rías Baixas appellation in 1988. He inherited the tradition and passion for the business from his father, Adolfo Falcón, a pioneer introducing the wine business in the local area.
They are the third generation to continue growing grapes because they value the connection to the land. They are passionate about using traditional, hand-crafted wine making in order to help his grapes tell their own story of soil, wine and weather.
