Going up the stairs to the hill A Pastora, we find a small playground, a small drinking fountain, a “Cruceiro”(stone cross) and A Pastora Chapel, where the pilgrimage is held annually dedicated to the Virgin. Behind the chapel, have a picnic area, ideal for a quiet picnic day. Continuing the path, you can reach the highest point, about 60 meters, where is placed the stone of Calvary that offers a panoramic view of the Arousa estuary, the river Umia and the stunning vineyards.
History tells us that at this point, the devil tried to tempt Christ and looking to the horizon said:
“If lying , your worship me, all that you see I will give you, less Fefiñáns, Cambados and San Tomé”
