In this service actions are promoted to improve the commercial offer of Cambados and to promote trade as a backbone of the social and economic life of the village, through active policies of support for trade, promotion of commercial associations, increase of its competitiveness and progress in the urban context.
In terms of trade, neighborhood trade is promoted and supported, fostering the establishment of service companies, the creation of cooperatives and the dissemination of tourist products in the area. The commercial activity is promoted, suggesting innovative commercial initiatives and alternatives for traditional commerce, through collective projects and coordinating the campaigns of commercial dynamism with the tourist, cultural and festivities campaigns of the city.
Municipal Office of Consumer Information
The purpose of the Municipal Consumer Information Office (OMIC) is to provide consumers with information about their rights. It promotes the training of consumers and traders through the organization of workshops and colloquia on different sections of consumption, with special attention in the training of the new consumer and, for this, it is coordinated with the teaching staff with the aim of taking consumer education to the school.
Provides documentation on what affects the consumption available to all people who request it. It will also provide information to associations of consumers and professional entities, making available all the material and documentation they need.
In this office, any problem, consultation and complaint concerning the consumer world is addressed, such as:
